Step 1: Auto-Deploy

We’ll start by using the HugoBlox Copilot to magically set up your entire infrastructure (Repository, Hosting, and SSL) in one click.

1. Open the Copilot

   Click the button below to open the HugoBlox dashboard in a new tab:

2. Connect GitHub

   If asked, authorize HugoBlox to access your GitHub account. This permission is needed to create your website repository for you.

3. Claim your Domain

   The Copilot will ask for a repository name.

   • Recommended: Enter username.github.io (replace username with your exact GitHub username).
   • Result: Your site will be published to https://username.github.io (free!).

4. Wait for Deployment

   Click Create Site. The Copilot will spin up your repository and trigger the first build. This usually takes 30-60 seconds.

Success!

When the confetti drops, you have a live website! You can now close the dashboard and proceed to the next step to start editing.
